WalStar started off as a brand name we wanted to use for a baking company. I came up with the name in December 2012 as a reaction to the news that Hostess was set to close. Later on, the name was used as the section of the Nosiphus website where all the men's personal pages were, whereas its counterpart, Olivia Jones, hosted all the women's personal pages. Olivia Jones, which had started life as my idea for an appliance company, and WalStar should really have had each other's names at the beginning.

WalStar was initially created on December 14, 2012. I came up with it initially as the branding for a pastries baking company, and the logo was designed to look good as a corner graphic on a package. However, the WalStar brand never saw this use on the Nosiphus server when it came around a few months later, as its purpose had changed by then.
March 11, 2013 - January 6, 2014

By March, we had started using the WalStar brand atop the men's member pages, and with the arrival of the second Nosiphus logo, I decided to apply a new graphic style across all Nosiphus subsidiary logos. This was the result for WalStar, and it was used for the rest of 2013.

The third and final WalStar logo was created as the second logo was designed like the second Nosiphus logo, which had been retired months earlier because it wasn't done very well, a problem WalStar's second logo shared. As WalStar had been hosting the men's personal member pages by this point, we placed a male avatar at the front of the logo, in this case, a suited Minecraft Steve. This logo remained atop the WalStar pages until we merged the men and women's pages on June 8, and retired both WalStar and Olivia Jones at that point.
