The main Nosiphus logo once changed more often than any other graphic we had, but that is a thing of the past. It has not received any changes since 2019.

January 31, 2013 - March 11, 2013
Red Text, Franklin Gothic Medium
The name "Nosiphus" came into existence in late January 2013. We had been learning about Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius in class at the time, and as I had started playing Minecraft at this point, I had built a small volcano in my world and titled it "Mt. Nosiphus," a nonsensical word with a similar name. I really took a liking to this name, and eventually, wrote it in solid black on the bottom right of the notebook we were using at the time for our ideas and documentation. On January 31, I decided to change our internal name to Nosiphus Brands, Inc., while keeping the Blue Cove name externally, and designed this logo. It became our primary logo on February 6, when Blue Cove's name was officially changed to Nosiphus.
The font specifically was chosen as it was the same font used by Microsoft for Windows XP and its other products during the early 2000s. Additionally, as the early logos were created in Microsoft Paint, they were never exported as transparent graphics.
March 11, 2013 - August 11, 2013
First Circular N, Red Text, Slogan in Black Text and Outline, Franklin Gothic Medium
After about a month of using the first logo, I decided it was time to give our logo some character of its own. I'd come up a with a slogan, A more familiar approach, which we still use as our tagline to this day. However, the idea I had in my head and the technical skills I had at the time were very far apart, and accordingly, the resulting graphic didn't turn out very well. Nevertheless, it was unique, and we used it throughout the summer of 2013. This logo is unique, however, in that three years later, I redrew it as I had originally wanted it to turn out, and that logo is now used for the Nosiphus Archives.

August 11, 2013 - June 8, 2014
Red Text, Slogan in Black Text and Outline, Franklin Gothic Medium
By August, Wyatt and I had agreed: while it was unique, the March 11 logo looked terrible, and it was time to redraw it. I decided that our first logo was actually pretty good, and it was very easy to recreate. I remade it and added our slogan to it, and we used it as our logo again for nearly a year.
June 8, 2014 - July 31, 2014
First Big N, Blue Cove Wave, Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Black Text on Copyright, Franklin Gothic Medium
June 8, 2014 was a monumental day in the history of the Nosiphus website. The previous website, which had served us since February 2013, was in bad need of an overhaul, and my skills at graphic design had improved significantly as well. Therefore, on that day, we took the opportunity to overhaul everything: the graphics were changed, the site was completely rebuilt, and the result was the first logo with the Big N, backed by the Blue Cove Wave, which allowed us to incorporate our former name into our current logo in some capacity. This logo was far better than any of its predecessors.
July 31, 2014 - January 17, 2015
First Big N, Blue Cove Wave, Gradient Effect, Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Black Text on Copyright, Franklin Gothic Medium
At the end of July, the decision was made to give the logo one slight change: a gradient effect had been applied across it. This logo, while only a small modification to its predecessor, stuck around for quite some time after its creation.
January 17, 2015 - March 14, 2015
May 2, 2015 - July 8, 2015
Second Big N, Glow Effect, Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Franklin Gothic Medium
By January, I had grown tired of the gradient effect. 2015 felt like it had the potential to be a big year for us, and accordingly, I felt the logo needed to be brighter. The result was that we ended up with a very glowy graphic. I really liked this version of our logo, and it stuck around in some form for quite some time. The Blue Cove Wave had been removed, which was actually an oversight, but I was so happy with the final result that I kept it as it was. We briefly replaced this logo with one that used a different font, but returned to using this one after less than two months.
March 14, 2015 - May 2, 2015
Second Big N, Glow Effect, Italicized Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Harlow Solid Italic
By March 2015, I felt that Nosiphus' graphics were still too closely tied to that early 2000s Microsoft aesthetic, because we were still using Franklin Gothic Medium. The website design from June 2014 also needed to be replaced, as we were finding it difficult to maintain. I discovered the Harlow Solid font in early 2015 when I was making a class project, and decided to change the Nosiphus logo to use the new font accordingly, and this accompanied a big change to the website layout. The legacy of Franklin Gothic Medium remained, however, in the form of the Big N. After about six weeks of use, the decision was made that this font just wasn't the right one, and we returned to using the Franklin Gothic Medium variant.
July 8, 2015 - October 11, 2015
Third Big N, Glow Effect, Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Franklin Gothic Medium
There had been a couple issues with the January 17 logo design that needed to be rectified. One, I had lost the original creation information for the Big N, so all I had was the final graphic. Additionally, I felt that the glow effect we had originally tried needed to be done in a better manner. On July 8, I sat down and created a new logo, and the Big N that resulted was far sharper and brighter than either of its predecessors. The Franklin Gothic Medium font remained for a time in the text, but its legacy as part of the Big N was solidified.
October 11, 2015 - June 17, 2016
August 18, 2016 - January 8, 2017
January 16, 2017 - April 29, 2017
Third Big N, Glow Effect, Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Comick Book
In October, I finally found a font that I liked well enough to replace Franklin Gothic Medium as our wordmark: Comick Book. This is the font used by the Sphax PureBDcraft resource pack, which we had used for two years by this point (and still use as our resource pack of choice today). It accompanied another full redesign of the website. This logo was the longest-lasting our our early ones, and survived multiple attempts to replace it. It's also the first logo to have a holiday variant.
November 15, 2016 - December 26, 2016 Chrismas Variant
Third Big N, Glow Effect, Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Comick Book, Running Minecraft Santa
June 17, 2016 - June 26, 2016
Capitalized, Glow Effect, Italicized Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Franklin Gothic Medium
Franklin Gothic Medium briefly returned as our main font in June 2016, accompanying a major site overhaul. I wanted to see what a logo written entirely like the Big N looked like. It was used for the last week of a website overhaul we did on May 1, a redesign that was replaced the same day this logo was. After about a week of use, I decided that this graphic wasn't very good, and elected to change it again.
June 26, 2016 - August 18, 2016
Capitalized, Glow Effect, Red Text on Blue Text, Slogan in Italicized Text and Outline, Righteous
For most of the summer of 2016, I decided to remove the legacy of Franklin Gothic Medium from our logo entirely, and the result was this. It used the Righteous font, which we also used as the new text font on the final major website redesign we undertook while using classic Google Sites, which was created the same day this logo was made. It was unique, but after a while, I realized it lacked a standout symbol, the Big N, so we retired this and returned to that logo.
January 8, 2017 - January 16, 2017
Third Big N, Internal Glow Effect, Blue Text in Red Outline, Slogan in Italicized Text, Comick Book
This logo accompanied a brief period where we made the website color scheme brighter. There isn't much else to say about it than that.
April 29, 2017 - June 8, 2017
Fourth Big N, Blue Cove Wave, Glow Effect, Red Text, Slogan in Italicized Blue Text, Quicksand
After nearly two years, the decision was made to finally create a new logo that was superior to its predecessor, and that was the result. The Big N got a final redesign, which brought back a far more prominent Blue Cove Wave, which had been missing since January 2015, and the text font was changed to Quicksand, which is the font we still use today. Franklin Gothic Medium had one final use as the base of the Big N, before this style of logo was permanently retired.
June 8, 2017 - September 2, 2017
Second Circular N, White Text, Quicksand
On June 8, 2017, the legacy of Franklin Gothic Medium in our logo finally ended as the Big N was retired. In its place was a logo that harked back to the circular N of March 2013, as well as the Blue Cove B from 2008. This logo still forms the basis of our current one, although it has been adjusted with small changes.
September 2, 2017 - September 29, 2019
Second Circular N, Red Text, Quicksand
The June 8 logo had one flaw: the white text would not show up on a white background. We decided to correct this by changing the text color to red, and the result was a logo that would last for over two years before it was replaced, and it received a holiday variant during its time.

November 1, 2018 - December 25, 2018 Christmas Variant
Christmas Ornament, Red Text, Quicksand
September 29, 2019 to present
Third Circular N, Shadow Effect, Red Text, Quicksand
Our current logo, designed on September 29, 2019, is by far the longest-lasting logo we've ever had. It has had multiple holiday designs. The only real differences with its predecessor are slight spacing changes and the addition of a shadow effect.
